Making Easy Fast Money Through Social Networking
Yesterday I talked about not needing SEO to be able to make easy fast money online and I meant every word of it. You can crack your skull over it and be ranked No.1 on Google and yet not make a dime from it - in fact you may have spend so much money that on a net net basis… you broke even or maybe even made a loss.
So if SEO is not the key, then what is? Well, traffic is and how do you get traffic to see what you have to offer? Easy, tell more people about it and the most organic or natural way to do this is by social networking. So here I go throwing another jargon into the pool - let me explain it simply… Social Networking basically is a means to pull people with similar interest socially, together and communicating with one another. Off the internet, this is called social clubs e.g. the polo club, or the Friday nite Bingo meet up, or the Rotary Chapters, etc. These clubs and societies join like minded people together and make them friends. On the other hand, when we talk about online social networking, we are talking about online communities created for people to interact. Can you think of any? Do these images trigger your memory?
Well yes, all of the above and many more other there social spaces are being created for this purpose. Are you in any of these communities? Most people are in 3 - 4 if not more of these communities already. It used to be pretty primitive the form I mean, we use to call this chatting or Instant Messaging through services like MSN, ICQ and so on and so forth. Then technology caught up, and no longer are we happy with just chatting over written words, we wanted voice and video and etc. Now the array available is nothing short of mind boggling.
The few reasons why Social Networking can make you very easy fast money online is because of these characteristics:
1) The people that are connected to the Social Network Group that you are involved in knows who you are.
2) If you have contributed in any form or manner to the group, the people there trust and like you - it will give great credibility
3) When you ask for a Call To Action (for example - please read and let me know… Or Please take a look at my newly developed website…) the response will be far quicker and serious.
4) They will be more honest to give their feedback and allow you to make the mistakes and the changes necessary to make your offer a second to none offer.
5) Word of mouth advertising will spread like wild fire
Another example came from a good friend of mine in his article “Page Rank Explained in Layman’s Term“. Khai tried to explain to me about page ranking and all that, and he used the example of Simon in the American Idol series and how his comments about a contestant holds more weight than the rest of the two judges? Well that’s because in his social network group, he has established himself as an authority of telling the truth even when it hurts or even when people don’t like him… So when he does say that a contestant did well or is good, it does make the audience pay more attention to him / her.
So if you have not established yourself in a social network group, then I urge you to start doing it as that will build you a reputation and when the time comes when you do have a great product to recommend, people in the group will jump to the checkout because you said its a sure win. Some of the ways to get yourself started include, signing up for some forums related to your area of interest or topic you want to make money from. Another way could be for you to join Yahoo Groups or Google Groups and start participating there, other still include Facebook, MSN, or visiting other people blogs or sites and leaving a comment or giving some help there.
Remember when you become an often enough seen and heard in the community, your credibility will grow - when that happens, you will start earning some serious cash. In fact, those that do huge SEO tweaking still need this method to get the ball rolling for them. Start building your credibility…

I suppose Social Networking is like making sure everyone knows everyone because you never know when you might need the expertise of someone in various industries/lines. So, instead of going to a total stranger, it’s better to go to someone whom you’ve had some sort of contact and whom you have a little bit of trust.
But it’s long, hard work in terms of making sure I’m networking and taking the time to see what’s happening. Any tips on making that work out easier? Thanks!
